Even though this film was scheduled for this 22, it was dicided to shift to avoid the clash with the other Dileep Movie ‘Body Guard’. As per the new agreement made between producers of these two films, Body Guard will be released by next week end while ‘Agathan’ will be an offering for valentine day week end. The three week difference will help both of them to manage to acceptable levels of box office success.

The Story : Agathan movie tells the story of retired Major General Hareendra Natha Varma (Sathyaraj) and Gautham Menon (Dileep) who is a software engineer. His father was Mukundan Menon, a bank employee working in Srinagar. His mother was Sujatha and sister Amritha. He lost his members of the family in a terrorist attack. During that period Major Hareendranatha Varma was on duty in Srinagar.

Dileep for Suresh Gopi

Actor Dileep had a lucky go at the Box Office when he last attempted home production. His magnum opus ‘Twenty: 20’ was the biggest hits of that year, returning Dileep with enough profits. Now after a couple of years, Dileep is attempting another production.
This time the producer in Dileep seems to have roped in Suresh Gopi to play a cop with the name Antony Punnakkadan. Most of the readers who had seen 'Twenty: 20' will definitely identify this name as that of the character Suresh Gopi played in the multi starrer. This yet to be titled movie will be a sequel. Rumours say that veteran director Joshy will call the shots of this movie. We assure you to be the first to break more news on the project.

Kavya for a comeback in Dileep movie


After a much publicised disastrous marriage life, Mollywood actress Kavya Madhavan is reported to make a comeback in the movie ‘Christian Brothers’ opposite Mohanlal. But due to some problems with the producers association, the movie had to be postponed indefinitely and Kavya was then planning to restart with Mammootty in the new movie ‘Pramani’. 'The movie makers opted for a last minute replacement with Sneha, due to clash in dates.
And now the news is that Kavya has been finalised as the heroine for the new movie ‘Pappy Appacha’ opposite Dileep. Infact, this will be the coming together of one of the favourite pairs of Mollywood, who had been together in 15 movies, earlier. Directed and Scripted by debutante Mammas, the movie will be a hilarious affair with Dileep and Innocent in the title roles.

'Aagathan' opens today


Ace director Kamal's new movie ‘Aagathan’ opened in 70 centres today. The movie which is the debut film of veteran Tamil star Sathyaraj in Malayalam, has Dileep and Charmi in the lead roles. The movie which features five hit songs from Ouseppachan is opined as a good racy entertainer, from the first show viewers.
Along with that, Shahrukh Khan's ‘My Name Is Khan'’ is also one of the biggest releases in Kerala today. The movie has opened in 35 centres all across the state. With the big pre release hype and innumerable number of die hard fans of SRK, the first show of the film registered 80-90 percent collections in all major centres.
